Prime Video has announced the lineup for the revamped “The Grand Tour,” set to return later this year with a fresh new cast. Francis Bourgeois, Thomas Holland, and James Engelsman have been chosen to take over the reins from the original trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May.
The upcoming six-episode series will feature Bourgeois, a former trainspotter turned petrolhead, teaming up with the popular YouTube automotive duo from Throttle House for a thrilling motoring adventure around the globe. Viewers can expect to see the trio take on challenges in diverse locations, such as navigating the Angolan desert in track vehicles, exploring Malaysia’s automotive scene, and testing American performance cars in California.
Produced by Studio Lambert, the series aims to maintain the essence of the franchise while introducing a new chapter with a younger and dynamic talent lineup. Bourgeois expressed his excitement about the opportunity, likening the challenge to running in oversized shoes but promising an interesting watch for the audience.
