Female Attacker Assaults Elderly Woman Over Bus Seat in Brooklyn
Last week, a disturbing incident unfolded on a Brooklyn bus when a female attacker viciously assaulted an elderly woman in a senseless altercation over a seat. The 72-year-old victim, a complete stranger to the assailant, was targeted on board a B6 bus at Glenwood Road and Nostrand Avenue around 6 p.m. on January 29, according to law enforcement sources.
Reports indicate that the attacker became enraged when the elderly woman briefly vacated her seat and then returned to it. Without provocation, the assailant proceeded to punch the senior citizen multiple times in the face, causing serious injuries.
Following the assault, the elderly victim was transported to Mount Sinai Brooklyn, where she was listed in stable condition. Meanwhile, the attacker managed to flee the scene on foot, heading north on Nostrand Avenue, evading capture.

The NYPD has released detailed photos of the suspect, who remains at large. Described as a female with a dark complexion, the assailant was last seen wearing a light-colored bubble jacket, black and white striped pants, and a hat. Authorities are urging anyone with information on the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline.
