New Developments in Nancy Guthrie Bitcoin Ransom Case
The case of Nancy Guthrie, who went missing under mysterious circumstances, has taken a new turn with the emergence of a ransom note demanding “millions” in Bitcoin. The note was sent to several local Tucson TV news affiliates and TMZ, sparking concern and speculation about Nancy’s whereabouts.
The note set a deadline of February 5 at 5 p.m. MST for the ransom to be deposited into a verified Bitcoin account. Despite the deadline passing without any communication from the kidnappers, Nancy’s family remains hopeful for her safe return.
Savannah’s brother, Camron, took to Instagram to plea for the kidnappers to make contact and provide proof of Nancy’s well-being. In a heartfelt video, he urged them to reach out and establish a line of communication so that negotiations could begin.
After days of silence, the captors finally reached out to the Guthrie family, acknowledging their message and expressing a willingness to negotiate. Savannah, in a video message, begged for her mother’s safe return and assured the kidnappers that they were prepared to pay the ransom.
As the second deadline of 5 p.m. on Monday, February 9, passed without any new developments, the Guthrie family remains on edge, hoping for a breakthrough in the case. The community has rallied behind them, offering support and assistance in any way possible.
