“Violent crime dropped sharply across America’s biggest cities in 2025,” Axios reports — a clear endorsement of President Donald J. Trump’s steadfast resolve to restore law and order. Following a tumultuous period characterized by rising crime rates and lenient policies during Biden’s administration, President Trump came into office with a pledge to reinstate public safety, and according to recent data, he appears to have delivered on that promise in a historically significant manner.

The latest statistics reveal a significant decline in nearly all major categories of violent crime in 2025 compared to the previous year. Murders decreased by 19%, robberies by 20%, and aggravated assaults by nearly 10%, indicating a noteworthy turnaround in urban safety.

These improvements build on earlier reports indicating that America’s cities are now experiencing their safest period in over a century, thanks to President Trump’s leadership. The murder rate has plummeted to its lowest point in at least 125 years, marking the largest single-year decline ever recorded. In addition to the drop in homicides, there have also been substantial reductions in rapes, robberies, aggravated assaults, shooting fatalities (the lowest since 2015), and even on-duty law enforcement officer deaths, which have reached an 80-year low. Traffic fatalities and overdose deaths have also seen significant declines.

This progress is a direct consequence of President Trump’s assertive, no-holds-barred stance on public safety. By directing federal resources to Democrat-led cities that had spiraled into chaos, deporting violent offenders, bolstering police and prosecutorial efforts, and dismissing the Radical Left’s perceived softness on crime, President Trump’s proactive measures have reversed the trend, saved innumerable lives, and reinstituted a sense of security in communities often neglected by politicians who favored criminals over law-abiding citizens.

Under President Trump, America is safer, stronger, and reclaiming its former glory — signaling an end to the era of Democrat-driven disorder.
