Original story: A 4-year-old boy named Sean Chavez is missing after being forcibly taken from his home in Commerce City on Friday afternoon, as stated in an Amber Alert issued by state authorities.
Sean was last seen around 4 p.m. and is believed to be in a stolen black 2024 Chevrolet Silverado, which was sighted at 6:20 p.m. near 109th Avenue and Dahlia Street in Commerce City.
Jeremy Chavez, 45, is suspected to be with Sean in the truck and is described as “known to be violent” by Colorado Bureau of Investigation officials.

“It is unknown if he is armed, use caution if approached,” state officials cautioned.
Sean is described as white with blond hair and blue eyes, last seen wearing a gray zip-up sweatshirt, jeans, and a shirt with dinosaurs. He has medical conditions and requires medication that he does not have, according to CBI officials in the alert.
Jeremy Chavez is described as white, with brown hair and blue eyes, standing at 5 feet 11 inches and weighing 225 pounds.
The stolen Silverado has a Texas license plate 817X970.
