Plot to Assassinate Trump Uncovered: Welder from Brooklyn Arrested
Rivera, a 49-year-old welder from Brooklyn, New York, found himself at the center of a shocking assassination plot allegedly orchestrated by Farhad Shakeri, a middleman for the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. Initially hired to surveil Iranian critic Alinejad, the plan quickly shifted to target former President Donald Trump.
Alinejad, known for her outspoken criticism of the Iranian regime, expressed her disbelief at the news, highlighting the dangerous nature of challenging the Islamic Republic. “I know the nature of the Islamic Republic, to kill anyone who dares to challenge them, who criticizes the Islamic ideology,” she stated.
The FBI’s investigation uncovered damning evidence, including assault rifles, during a search warrant. Rivera, along with accomplices Loadholt and Shakeri, were found to have exchanged messages and photos as part of their surveillance activities.
Reports indicate that the trio exchanged texts and voice messages outlining their sinister plans to first assassinate Alinejad and then target Trump. Shakeri, who is currently evading authorities in Tehran, is believed to have masterminded the assassination plots.
