NBCUniversal is making a bold move to enhance the user experience on its streaming service, Peacock, by introducing a digital replica of Andy Cohen. This AI-generated version of Cohen is set to debut on the Peacock mobile app in the summer of 2026 and will be a part of a series of new features aimed at engaging viewers in the āBravoverseā and keeping them on the platform for longer periods of time.
The concept behind this digital replica, known as Your Bravoverse, is to provide users with a personalized experience based on their preferences. Users will be able to select their favorite Bravo shows and iconic moments, after which the AI-generated Cohen will curate a playlist of swipeable video clips from over 5,000 hours of Bravo footage. With more than 600 billion possible viewing variants, the experience promises to be unique for each user.
Matt Strauss, chairman of NBCUniversal Media Group, emphasized the company’s commitment to providing a wide range of experiences on Peacock. He described Peacock not just as a streaming platform, but as an entertainment platform that aims to cater to fans of NBCU’s franchises and keep them engaged with exclusive content.
The AI-generated Cohen avatar, created using gen-AI technology from Synthesia, is designed to mimic Cohen’s style and voice. This technology has previously been used by NBCUniversal for the 2024 Paris Olympics to create an AI-generated version of Al Michaels’ voice for daily recaps. The addition of video to Cohen’s AI avatar takes the experience to a whole new level.
Your Bravoverse will not only offer personalized playlists but also incorporate ongoing insights from Cohen, ensuring that the content remains fresh and engaging for users. Additionally, a team of editors will oversee the playlists to maintain quality and accuracy.
The new feature is targeted at both hardcore Bravo fans and casual viewers, with the aim of increasing engagement and viewership on Peacock. The success of Bravo series on the platform, with a significant increase in viewership season-over-season, underscores the popularity of the content among Peacock users.
In addition to Your Bravoverse, Peacock will also introduce other new features such as full live broadcasts of NBA games in vertical format and mobile games based on popular franchises like “Law & Order.” These additions are part of NBCUniversal’s strategy to differentiate Peacock from other streaming services and provide a unique and engaging experience for viewers.
Overall, NBCUniversal’s investment in AI-generated content and interactive experiences on Peacock demonstrates its commitment to innovation and enhancing the entertainment options available to its viewers. With the introduction of Your Bravoverse and other exciting features, Peacock is poised to become a go-to destination for fans of NBCU’s franchises and entertainment content. Peacock, NBC’s streaming service, is expanding its offerings with the upcoming launch of a new mobile game for the popular game show “Jeopardy!” This new addition will join the existing mobile mini-games for “Wheel of Fortune,” “Today,” and “Prediction Games” on the Peacock app.
Despite these new additions, Peacock is still facing financial challenges. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the streaming service reported an operating loss of $552 million, compared to $372 million in losses during the same period the year before. However, Peacock’s revenue saw an increase, rising to $1.6 billion from $1.3 billion the previous year. The service also gained 3 million net new paid customers in the period, bringing the total number of paid subscribers to 44 million by the end of 2025.
One factor that may have contributed to the increase in subscribers is Peacock’s coverage of major events such as the 2026 Winter Olympics in Italy and Super Bowl LIX. NBCU, the parent company of Peacock, reported record streaming numbers for both events, which likely helped attract more viewers to the platform.
As Peacock continues to expand its content offerings and attract new subscribers, the streaming service will need to find ways to overcome its financial challenges and continue to grow its user base. With the addition of the new “Jeopardy!” mobile game and the success of its coverage of major events, Peacock is positioning itself as a key player in the competitive streaming market.
