The collaboration between the FBI and the UFC was unexpected in 2026, yet it has materialized. Leaders from both organizations have expressed their enthusiasm about this beneficial partnership.
Jorge Masvidal, Justin Gaethje, and Michael Chandler are among those traveling to Quantico to provide training to FBI agents.
Masvidal shared his thoughts on why this collaboration could be advantageous for the FBI:
“As you already know, your boy’s been invited to Quantico, headquarters of the FBI. They want me to teach people how to subdue perpetrators, and all things like that…and share with them my mastery experience of the sport of combat.”

Masvidal also believes his mixed martial arts skills could aid in defusing potentially dangerous situations and ultimately save lives:
“Not to be cliche or corny, but I think I can save a lot of lives, you know? Because if they could de-escalate a situation and learn how to subdue somebody properly, maybe it doesn’t have to get to that point to get their fire weapon, and take somebody out and smoke somebody.”
He concluded by expressing his hope that working with FBI officers can improve their training and further save lives.

Dana White lauds FBI-UFC partnership
Though the results of the partnership are yet to be seen, UFC’s Dana White is optimistic about it.
The UFC CEO expressed his pride in the collaboration:
“Our UFC fighters are some of the baddest men and women on the planet and they are heading to Quantico to train the best FBI agents in mixed martial arts. It’s an incredible opportunity for our athletes to experience, and we’re proud to support the FBI in strengthening their defense techniques.”
Kash Patel, the FBI head, has been a regular attendee at UFC events leading up to this partnership. US President Donald Trump, a vocal supporter of the UFC and Dana White, has also attended numerous UFC pay-per-views over the years.
