Zendaya can undoubtedly count on Tom Holland as her biggest supporter, especially as speculation about their marital status grows.
“I honestly couldn’t be more excited for you to see this movie,” Holland, 29, shared on Instagram on Saturday, March 21. He posted this message alongside a promotional image for the film, featuring Zendaya, also 29, as a bride next to her costar Robert Pattinson. “Believe me when I say it’s gonna floor you. Get your tickets now!”
Zendaya stars alongside Pattinson, 39, in The Drama, an A24 film that revolves around a couple’s wedding day and the ensuing antics.
In reality, Zendaya and Holland have been a couple since 2021, after portraying love interests in Marvel’s Spider-Man series. They subtly announced their engagement at the 2025 Golden Globes, where Zendaya was spotted on the red carpet wearing a prominent engagement ring.
“Tom figured the holidays were the best time to propose in a very low-key way,” a source told Us Weekly in January 2025. “She didn’t want anything over the top.”
The insider revealed that Holland and Zendaya were eager to embark on their next chapter together.
“Tom wanted to propose because he feels he is at the right time in his life and feels ready to settle down,” the source shared with Us last year. “They had many discussions over the years, but there was never any pressure. Zendaya is thrilled and excited. She anticipated it might happen but never pressured him.”

Holland and the Euphoria actress have kept mostly quiet about their wedding plans until her longtime stylist, Law Roach, claimed earlier this month that the pair were already married.
“The wedding has already happened,” Roach, 47, told Access Hollywood during the Actor Awards in March. “You missed it. It’s very true.”
Later, at the 2026 Oscars, Roach reiterated his earlier comments, saying he “said what [he] said” and stood by his viral remarks regarding Zendaya’s possible marriage.
Neither Zendaya nor Holland has publicly confirmed whether they are married. Us Weekly has reached out to representatives for both actors for comments.
Zendaya has been aware of the online discussions about her marital status and the AI-generated images depicting a possible wedding.
“Many people have been fooled by them while I was just out and about in real life,” Zendaya remarked on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Monday, March 16, when questioned about the fake wedding photos circulating on social media. “People are like, ‘Oh, my God, your wedding photos are gorgeous!’ I was like, ‘Babe, they’re AI! They’re not real!’”
In an attempt to clarify the speculation, the actress showed a video that turned out to be a scene from The Drama with Holland’s head superimposed over Pattinson’s body.
“It was a beautiful day. That was real footage,” she joked on Monday. “That was real. I was there.”
The Drama will be released in theaters on Friday, April 3.
