Lala Kent Details ‘Tough’ Healing From 2nd Breast Surgery

Lala Kent openly discussed the challenging experience following her second breast augmentation.

“It has been 10 days — nearly two weeks — since my surgery. I must admit, it has been difficult,” Kent, 35, shared during the Thursday, March 26, episode of her “Untraditionally Lala” podcast. “I didn’t anticipate the mental struggle being this tough.”

As a mother of two, Kent has particularly found it hard, noting, “When someone tells you that you can’t hold your child for four weeks, it sends you into a spiral. You think, ‘This will go by quickly,’ but here we are, only 10 days in, and I look at my kids thinking, ‘What I’d give to pick you up.’”

The reality star, who is mother to Ocean, 4, with Randall Emmett, and Sosa, 18 months, via a sperm donor, missed the “bonding” moments she is accustomed to with her children.

“There are small things that have been affecting me. Also, my workout routine. I’ve been really into starting my day with, ‘Wake up, have my coffee, make my bed, get into my workout gear and work on my bum,’” she added. “I’m genuinely worried that my body will lose its shape.”

Later in the episode, Kent described the recovery as “painful,” saying, “My armpits are numb. Parts of my arm are just beginning to regain sensation. It was an intense surgery.”

Kent has previously spoken about how her body changed after having two children.

“I love being pregnant. It’s my favorite experience, so I wish to go through it again,” Kent revealed on a January episode of the “Unlikely Affair” podcast. “But since my second child, my stomach—depending on how I move—looks a bit odd. And I don’t want anyone to say, ‘Oh, shut the f*** up.’ I’m being vulnerable right now.”

She went on to say: “Regardless of who you are or how you look, we all scrutinize ourselves and think, ‘I don’t love this.’ I get anxious. The third one, we’re going to have a real granny issue happening.”

Kent showed interest in undergoing plastic surgery after her initial breast augmentation in 2022.

“I resemble the Grinch. You know, he’s got a small butt, a potbelly, and little boobs,” she stated. “I did inquire about a boob job. She’s calling me today. I’m very excited.”

Kent also mentioned: “If you’re getting a BBL, so am I. … I’m aiming to look like Cardi B, but that’s fine. I want my pants custom-made because my thigh-to-ass-to-torso ratio is that wild.”
