Sunil Narine of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) bowled an exceptional delivery to dismiss Sarfaraz Khan of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on Tuesday, April 14. The match took place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
After losing the toss, Chennai was asked to bat first. Sarfaraz came in at No. 5 with CSK at 111/3 in 11.2 overs. Unfortunately, he could not make a significant contribution, departing after scoring a slow 23 off 18 balls.
Sarfaraz was dismissed by Narine on the first ball of the 17th over. The mystery spinner baffled him with a knuckleball at a good length. Attempting to whip it to the leg side, Sarfaraz was beaten as the ball moved away after pitching.
Sarfaraz had to leave the field as the ball hit the off stump. You can watch Narine’s delivery here.
Sarfaraz Khan has accumulated 122 runs from four innings, boasting a strike rate of 182.08. This season marks his comeback to the league after being unsold for two seasons.
