On June 13, 2026, Team Apex Gaming expanded its reach by acquiring the roster of Team Hind, known for their recent victory in the Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring. Established by renowned Indian gamers Jonathan Gaming and Shreeman Legend, Apex Gaming made its debut in the esports scene in April of this year and has quickly amassed a significant fan base.

In contrast, Team Hind has shown remarkable performance over the past six months, consistently securing podium finishes in numerous events. Currently, the team is participating in the Asia Invitational 2026 Summer and has secured a direct entry into the Group Stage of the FFMIC 2026 Fall. Now playing under the Apex Gaming banner, the lineup aims to continue their success in the ongoing major tournaments.

Apex Gaming’s new Free Fire Max roster

The five-man roster acquired by Team Apex Gaming includes:

  1. KD – Priyanshu
  2. Louis – Ayush Jangir
  3. SHOTO – Manav
  4. Sahil – Sahil Dahiya
  5. Wolvin – Dhruv Sharma

Competing as Team Hind earlier in 2026, this lineup achieved significant success. They claimed victory in the PRG Survivor Series in February and secured second place in both the Free Fire Max Championship Series and the iQOO Pro Series Season 3 with standout performances. Additionally, they won the PRG Survivor Series Season 2 in March 2026.

Furthermore, Team Hind showcased exceptional gameplay in the Free Fire Max India Cup (FFMIC) 2026 Spring, earning the prestigious trophy and a substantial cash prize of ₹35 lakh. Wolvin, the star player, delivered an outstanding performance and received the FMVP award.

Winning the Spring event granted the lineup a direct entry into the Main Event of the Asia International (FFMAI) 2026 Spring. The team finished fifth in this tournament, but excelled in the FFAIG 2026 Season 2 held in May, securing second place.

Rumors suggest that the top three teams from the FFMIC 2026 Spring might represent India at the Free Fire Esports World Cup 2026 in Paris. However, the names of these teams were initially listed on the official EWC website but were later removed.

Team Apex Gaming now boasts rosters in both Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and Free Fire Max. They entered the esports arena by acquiring the BGMI roster from True Rippers.

Jonathan Amaral, one of the team’s co-founders, is a highly regarded BGMI/PUBG Mobile athlete globally. Since entering the esports scene in 2019, he has garnered numerous accolades over the years. His current focus is on establishing his organization as a successful venture.
