Taylor Frankie Paul has recently taken the step to voluntarily enter a rehab center, Us Weekly confirms.
A source shares with Us that Paul is dedicated to her mental health journey, stating, “She is focused on doing the work with her mental health professionals and checked in for a voluntary stay. She has since been cleared and departed. Her priority remains doing the work on her mental health and being a good mom.”
Us understands that the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star entered the facility for mental health treatment based on her doctor’s advice.
Us has reached out to Taylor’s representatives for further comments.
The MomTok influencer has been embroiled in a custody battle with ex Dakota Mortensen over their 2-year-old son, Ever.
In March, production on season 5 of Mormon Wives was halted after it became known that Utah’s Draper City Police Department was investigating allegations of domestic assault involving Taylor, 32, and Dakota, 33, related to a February incident. Prosecutors decided not to press charges in April.
In court documents obtained by TMZ in March, Dakota claimed that Taylor choked him and pushed him into a window at her house during the February incident. He alleged that Taylor was “emotionally volatile” and feared for their toddler’s safety. Dakota received a temporary protective order against Taylor and temporary custody of Ever.
Taylor sought her own protective order against Dakota, alleging that he assaulted her in his truck. This order was also granted the following month. Both must keep at least 100 feet away from each other.
In June, a judge lifted restrictions on Taylor’s supervised visits with Ever, allowing her to have the child on alternate weekends and one non-overnight midweek day. The couple is scheduled for another court appearance on July 8.
Also in March, ABC decided to pull Taylor’s season of The Bachelorette, which was set to premiere that month, after footage of a domestic violence incident involving the couple from 2023 was leaked.
“In light of the newly released video just surfaced today, we have made the decision to not move forward with the new season of The Bachelorette at this time, and our focus is on supporting the family,” a Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson told Us then.
In related news, on Tuesday, June 30, Taylor’s ex-husband, Tate Paul, sought a temporary restraining order against her. They share daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6.
TMZ reported that Tate is also seeking sole custody of their two children.
Taylor and Tate were married from 2016 to 2022, separating after a “soft swinging” scandal that gained attention on TikTok.
