Major Update Emerges in Liv Morgan Stalking Case Following Court Ruling

Significant progress has been made in the legal proceedings involving WWE star Liv Morgan. The individual accused of stalking the Women’s World Champion has reportedly been deported from the United States following a recent court decision.

According to PWInsider, Shawn Chan, a Canadian citizen who was arrested in 2025 for allegedly traveling to Florida and visiting Morgan’s residence, is believed to have been sent back to Canada this week. This development follows a federal court’s decision earlier this month, finding Chan not guilty by reason of insanity on charges related to interstate domestic violence.

The incident dates back to May 2025, when Chan allegedly flew from Scarborough, Ontario, to Florida. Investigators claim he visited Liv Morgan’s Florida home, spending several hours around the property. The criminal complaint states that he circled the house multiple times, entered the backyard, tried to access the front door, and stayed outside for hours before leaving a handwritten note.

That note supposedly identified Chan by name and included his Canadian address and phone number. He purportedly stated that his visit was “friendly” and denied any intention of stalking the WWE star.

Authorities reported that the FBI arrested Chan on June 3, 2025, after WWE security reviewed surveillance footage from Morgan’s home. He was indicted on charges of interstate domestic violence and remained in custody, with several unsuccessful attempts to secure his release.

Chan pursued an insanity defense, resulting in a court ruling that found him not guilty by reason of insanity. Following this, records show he was transferred to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement custody after expressing a wish to return to Canada.

The latest update indicates that Chan is no longer held in ICE custody in Florida, suggesting that he has been deported from the U.S.

Vince Russo, a former WWE head writer, commented on the Liv Morgan stalking case by highlighting how social media has made wrestlers too accessible to unstable individuals.
