Authorities reported that a 46-year-old man was fatally shot in front of a Bronx liquor store on Monday night.
The NYPD stated that the victim was found with a gunshot wound to the head near the intersection of Archer Street and White Plains Road in Parkchester, shortly before 8:15 p.m.
Emergency personnel transported the unidentified man to NYC Health+Hospitals/Jacobi, where he was declared dead, authorities confirmed.
Photographs from the scene showed blood on the muddy pavement as investigators worked, placing evidence markers around the area.
Surveillance video reviewed by News12 showed the victim with a group when a man in a long blue raincoat approached, tapped him with a gun, and shot him.
No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
