SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for the Season 8 finale of “Love Island USA.”
Bryce and Trinity emerged as the winners of “Love Island USA” Season 8, as determined by the public’s final vote for the reality dating show.
Joining Bryce and Trinity in the top four were Aniya and Carl, who finished in second place, Melanie and Sincere in third, and Kayda and Zach in fourth. Bryce and Trinity walked away with a $100,000 cash prize.
Bryce and Trinity remained a strong pair from their first coupling on the show, maintaining their bond throughout the past month. Melanie and Sincere were also among the initial couples, with Sincere opting for Melanie over Aniya, who had initially expressed interest in him during the premiere. However, their relationship hit a rocky patch during movie night, when it was revealed that Sincere was involved with both Melanie and Sol.
On the other hand, Kayda and Zach formed their connection early in the season after Zach chose Kayda, introduced as one of the bombshells, over Kenzie. Aniya and Carl became a couple later in the season after Casa Amor and quickly won over the fans.
As the show’s popularity continues to rise, host Ariana Madix recently received her first Emmy nomination for hosting the program on Peacock. The Season 8 premiere became Peacock’s most-watched TV debut, garnering 3.7 million views, according to NBCUniversal’s first-party data.
This season was not without its controversies, as two islanders were removed from the show after racist videos of them using the n-word resurfaced online. A similar incident occurred in Season 7 when two contestants were expelled for using racial slurs.
Madix is set to return for a “Love Island” Season 8 reunion on August 31 at 6 p.m. PT/9 p.m. ET. The series is produced by ITV America in collaboration with Lifted Entertainment and WPP Media’s Motion Entertainment.
