George Kittle shared his excitement about attending Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce‘s wedding at Madison Square Garden.
During his appearance on the July 23 episode of the “Unbuttoned” podcast, the San Francisco 49ers tight end recounted his experience at what he described as the celebrity wedding of the year.
“The entire thing was fantastic,” George, 32, remarked to Chris Simms during the podcast. “I had so much fun.”
George attended the event with his wife, Claire, and his parents, Bruce and Jan. Claire’s mother, Shelly, was also invited, thanks to the strong bonds forged with Swift and Kelce at Tight End University.
“Travis really likes Bruce, and the mothers got invited because of their time at Tight End U last year, where they spent a lot of time with Taylor,” George explained. “It was great to have a family outing at Madison Square Garden.”

The Grammy-winning singer and NFL star both donned custom outfits from Christian Dior Haute Couture for the occasion.
“The bride and groom’s wedding attire was crafted by Christian Dior Haute Couture,” a spokesperson for Swift announced in a press statement. “Designed by Jonathan Anderson, Creative Director of Dior Women’s, Men’s, and Haute Couture Collections, this marks the designer’s debut couture wedding dress for a globally recognized celebrity. Their shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and the bride adorned Cartier jewelry.”
Following Swift and Kelce’s nuptials, George and Claire posted a personalized congratulatory message on social media.
“It was a family affair. Congratulations on finding your exclamation point!” George and Claire wrote on Instagram on July 5. “JusT&T Married ❤️. We love y’all!”
The Kittles’ wedding tribute referenced Swift’s description of Kelce during her first appearance on his “New Heights” podcast.
“Travis, he’s just a vibe booster in everyone’s life that he’s in,” Swift said on an August 2025 podcast episode, expressing her admiration for Kelce. “He’s, like, a human exclamation point. He’s like when you take a picture on your phone and you push the ‘enhance color’ button, that’s what you do to every text.”
