For Donna Wilson, there is no reason that knitwear and home decor shouldn’t be filled with color and joy. The London-based designer embraces vibrant patterns and playful elements, evident in items like patterned towels, socks, blankets, and hot water bottle covers. Her collection of cushions, in particular, showcases this lively approach, offering pillows with unique personalities.
These soft items, which include bolsters, floor cushions, and throw pillows, are crafted from knitted lambswool. Among her current creations are oversized bananas, whales, and toadstools. Produced in small batches, these designs are brought to life in what Wilson calls a “micro-factory” known as the Knit Shop in Scotland.
