Dominik Mysterio confirms his sister has joined WWE; takes huge shot at his dad

Dominik Mysterio has announced that his sister, Aalyah Mysterio, has joined WWE. In doing so, he also took a significant jab at their father. The Judgment Day member is set to face Danhausen at this weekend’s SummerSlam 2026.

During an appearance on The Ariel Helwani Show, Dominik shared his thoughts on working alongside Aalyah. He expressed enthusiasm about the idea but advised her to steer clear of their father, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.

“I think it would be cool, but like I said, it would have to be with me. I couldn’t have it like with my dad, like if she started off doing some bullsh** with my dad like I did, it is only going to bring her down. I can help jumpstart whatever it is that she needs, you know? We can skip all of the bullsh** that I went through, that my dad put me through. I think if she is smart, she will come talk to big brother,” he said.

Helwani noted that Aalyah had been training with Natalya, and Dominik confirmed she was moving to the Performance Center to train full-time.

“I’ve seen pictures of her training at The Dungeon 2.0, but I think now she is going to go and be at the PC full-time,” he added.

Former WWE Star Expresses Sympathy for Dominik Mysterio

Wrestling commentator Jonathan Coachman expressed sympathy for Dominik Mysterio following his recent appearance on WWE RAW.

During the episode, Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and professional boxer Ryan Garcia interrupted a concert by Joe Hendry and Danhausen. Coachman criticized the segment on social media, labeling it the worst he had seen and expressing pity for Mysterio.

“I feel bad for Michael Cole for having to put it over, Corey Graves for faking like he is putting it over. Joe Hendry, because that is what they are giving him after so long of not being called up. The poor three little guys who just want to have a payday. And the one I feel the worst for was the most over heel in the company eight months ago, Dirty Dom. And now he has been relegated to a one-on-one match with a guy they are just shoving down our throats in Danhausen,” said Coachman.

The upcoming SummerSlam match between Dominik Mysterio and Danhausen will be closely watched to see what WWE has in store for Mysterio.
