Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their first public appearance together since their family trip to the UK last month. During that visit, they had a private meeting with King Charles III, 77, and Queen Camilla, 79, at Highgrove.
A source acquainted with the criticism aimed at the Duchess told Radar: “Meghan’s critics are frustrated by her perceived attempts to emulate Diana. Whenever she wears something linked to Diana, they claim it invites comparisons. The earrings became a focal point due to their well-known history. Critics insist she needs to understand she is not as iconic as Diana and has no connection to her.”
Markle posted behind-the-scenes footage on Instagram, capturing her and Harry walking through a corridor flanked by pipers and drummers in traditional kilts.
She enthusiastically remarked, “My husband loves bagpipes!”
Walking past the musicians, she exclaimed, “Oh my god, this is amazing!”
Harry humorously inquired, “Where are mine?”
Realizing the ensemble included more than just bagpipes, he corrected himself, describing them as “pipes and drums.”
