VTuber and Twitch streamer Miss Lala has decided to take a break from her livestreaming activities due to her pregnancy. On August 17, 2026, she shared on X that her pregnancy had developed into a cornual pregnancy. The National Library of Medicine describes cornual pregnancy as a specific type of ectopic pregnancy with a mortality rate of 2.0% to 2.5%.
The National Library of Medicine provides the following definition of cornual pregnancy:
“Cornual pregnancy (CP) is a subtype of ectopic pregnancy that is implanted in the interstitial segment of the fallopian tube which is defined as the tubal section crossing uterine muscular tissue.”
Miss Lala revealed via social media that she had to be taken to the hospital after her uterus ruptured, causing her to lose about three liters of blood.
She further mentioned that she would remain in the hospital for the rest of the week and anticipated a recovery period of six to eight weeks:
“Starting immediately, I will be taking a hiatus from all streaming activities. My pregnancy turned out to be a Cornual Pregnancy, and early Friday morning I was rushed to the hospital because my uterus burst and I lost about 3L of blood. I am in the hospital for the rest of the week, with an additional 6-8 week recovery period ahead of me. Devastated does not begin to describe how both my husband and I feel during this time. Thank you so much for all your love and support – I look forward to opening the Diner doors again soon. хо.”
VTuber and licensed internal medicine doctor Saiken M.D. says “it’s a miracle” Miss Lala survived after losing 3 liters of blood
Saiken M.D., another VTuber and licensed internal medicine doctor, responded to Miss Lala’s post on X. He remarked that it was a “miracle” she survived the ordeal after losing three liters of blood.
He explained further:
“For those who don’t know, a cornual pregnancy is an extremely rare type of ectopic pregnancy where the fertilized egg implants right at the segment where the fallopian tube crosses into the upper uterine horn (cornu). Because it implants in muscular tissue instead of the normal endometrium of the uterine cavity, this is ultimately incompatible with life. Unfortunately, due to the growth of the embryo itself, there is a high risk of uterine rupture and life-threatening hemorrhage, which is what ultimately happened in Lala’s case. 3L of blood is more than half of the body’s total blood volume, and it is a miracle that Lala survived this ordeal and could even share this story with us. Please send all of your love and support to her and Dondon.”
Earlier in the year, on January 27, 2026, Miss Lala was in the news due to a dispute with fellow VTuber Rev Says Desu.
