A popular AEW star suffered a potentially serious injury, landing on his head during a recent Ring of Honor event.
This incident involved “Smart” Mark Sterling, who currently manages the Premier Athletes team, consisting of Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, and Stori Denali. Sterling is well-known for his management prowess on AEW and ROH broadcasts. During the August 18 episode of ROH TV, Komander faced off against Ariya Daivari, with Mark Sterling present at ringside. The match between these Ring of Honor contenders was fast-paced and added excitement to the event lineup. However, one moment during the match drew significant attention from the audience, as it was unsettling to witness.
While Komander was dominating Ariya Daivari, Mark Sterling climbed onto the apron to distract the referee. Komander noticed and took action, charging toward the turnbuckle to dropkick Sterling off the apron. Sterling fell awkwardly, landing on his head or neck, creating a frightening scene.
