Armel Traore Opens Up About Bonding with Bronny James
Everyone seems to have an opinion on Bronny James, but according to his teammate Armel Traore, it’s all positive. In a recent interview with TMZ Sports, Traore expressed his admiration for the young rookie.
When asked about his experience spending time with Bronny, Traore had nothing but good things to say. “He’s my guy,” Traore said. “And I like everyone on the team, we’re a family.”
As a 21-year-old Frenchman, Traore can relate to Bronny’s journey as a young player. Despite not having permanent homes yet, Traore described the experience as “amazing” and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to play alongside Bronny and the rest of the team.
“I’m blessed to be here,” Traore continued. “Just wanna keep going, it’s just the start. Every time I get my chance in the big gym, I’m showing my stuff, and in the G League, play my game.”
During his time with the South Bay Lakers, Traore has been putting up impressive numbers, averaging 16.8 points, 10.6 rebounds, and an assist per game. His performance on the court has not gone unnoticed, and he credits his teammates, including Bronny, for their support.
While Bronny is still adjusting to the professional basketball scene, his presence on the team has already made an impact. Traore mentioned that Bronny’s involvement has helped attract larger crowds to their G League games, creating a positive atmosphere for the team.
