From award-winning TV shows to record-breaking box office hits, these international breakouts made their mark on the industry.

Maura Delpero, a young Italian director, emerged as Europe’s new indie darling with her film “Vermiglio,” which won the Venice Film Festival’s Silver Lion. The movie, set in an Alpine village post-World War II, received critical acclaim for its attention to detail and captivating storytelling.
