President Biden Criticizes Press During White House Event

President Biden made some pointed remarks towards the press during a public White House event Sunday night.

Fox News’ Lucas Tomlinson reported that after signing the Social Security Fairness Act, Biden fielded questions from the crowd, leading him to target President-elect Donald Trump.

When asked if he still believed Trump was a threat to democracy, Biden responded, “I think what he did was a genuine threat to democracy.”

Following allegations that Trump planned to end birthright citizenship, Biden shifted focus to criticize the reporters present.

“I might be the oldest president, but I know more world leaders than any one of you have ever met in your whole goddamn life!” Biden exclaimed.

Some observers quickly condemned Biden’s remarks.

Journalist Salena Zito jokingly said, “He’s fine guys.”

Conservative communicator Steve Guest commented, “What a bitter person.”

RedState writer Bonchie criticized the emphasis on political connections over actual qualifications, while CNN conservative commentator Scott Jennings sarcastically praised Biden’s civility and Catholic faith.

Biden has a history of contentious interactions with the press, including instances where he has made aggressive comments towards reporters.

In past incidents, Biden mocked a reporter asking about brokering a hostage deal and referred to Fox News’ Peter Doocy in a derogatory manner. Despite these incidents, Biden has also attempted to mend relationships with reporters after the fact.
