The Texas National Guard has been granted the authority by U.S. Customs and Border Protection to assist with the mass deportation of illegal aliens during President Donald Trump’s second term. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton expressed his support for this decision, emphasizing the importance of restoring national sovereignty and securing the border. He called on all state and local law enforcement agencies to join in the effort to enforce the law and protect America.

In a press release, Attorney General Paxton announced that Texas law enforcement officers have been deputized to collaborate with federal immigration enforcement efforts. This agreement allows them to assist in the investigation, apprehension, and detention of illegal aliens as authorized under section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act. This collaboration aims to address the challenge of illegal immigration and enhance national security.

The decision to deputize Texas law enforcement officers comes after a period of limited cooperation between state and federal authorities during the Biden Administration. President Trump’s executive order on immigration enforcement has enabled Texas to resume its partnership with federal agencies in addressing immigration issues. The involvement of the Texas National Guard in immigration enforcement and mass deportations reflects a renewed commitment to border security and immigration law enforcement.

Recent developments, including the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals ruling allowing Texas to build razor wire along the border wall and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s statement that “all options are on the table” regarding military force against cartels in Mexico, underscore the seriousness of the situation at the southern border. There is speculation that President Trump may invoke the Insurrection Act to combat cartels operating along the border, indicating a proactive approach to addressing security threats.

The deployment of military troops to combat cartels and enhance border security remains a possibility, as border patrol agents face increasing threats, including gunfire and the potential use of weaponized cartel drones. President Trump’s recent message to those who would attack Americans and the precision airstrikes against ISIS in Somalia demonstrate a commitment to protecting U.S. citizens and allies from terrorist threats. The administration’s focus on border protection and national security under President Trump’s leadership underscores the importance of addressing border challenges effectively.

will continue to provide updates on President Trump’s southern border solutions and efforts to enhance border security and immigration enforcement. Stay tuned for more information on this evolving situation.
