Projects featured on the Federal Permitting Dashboard will provide stakeholders with real-time updates on environmental reviews and authorizations.

In a move that can only be described as a bureaucratic encore, the Federal Permitting Improvement Steering Council—fondly known as the Permitting Council—has unveiled its latest collection of critical mineral production projects, now gracing the FAST-41 transparency projects list. This second installment is part of an ongoing saga to elevate the transparency of such projects, following President Trump’s Executive Order, Immediate Measures to Increase American Mineral Production.

“The Permitting Council is thrilled to expand our catalog of critical mineral production projects with this newest selection,” declared Manisha Patel, Acting Executive Director of the Permitting Council. “The visibility these projects gain through the Federal Permitting Dashboard is nothing short of revolutionary. It equips stakeholders—from government officials to industry players—with a clear view of each project’s progress, fostering accountability in environmental reviews that often feel like navigating a murky swamp.”

In response to President Trump’s Executive Order, the chair of the National Energy Dominance Council (NEDC) has submitted this second batch of critical minerals production projects to the Permitting Council. The initial group of ten projects made their debut on April 4, 2025, and was subsequently added to the Federal Permitting Dashboard on April 18, 2025. This latest batch is just one part of a continuing effort to ensure these vital projects enjoy the light of transparency provided by FAST-41, with even more additions on the horizon.

Being featured on the Permitting Dashboard means that the environmental review and authorization schedules for these essential mineral production projects are now publicly accessible. This transparency benefit allows all stakeholders—from project sponsors to community members and federal agency heads—to stay informed about each project’s status in the review process. Such open access not only enhances accountability but also streamlines the entire procedure, turning it from a sluggish affair into a more manageable journey.

Additional selected projects include:

This new list supplements the initial announcement made on April 18, 2025, with many more projects poised for future inclusion. The Permitting Council remains steadfast in its commitment to collaborate closely with the National Energy Dominance Council and other federal partners to drive forward President Trump’s ambitious agenda of re-establishing America’s energy dominance while utilizing every available resource to build critical infrastructure.
