These ‘angel families,’ who have endured the heart-wrenching loss of children at the hands of illegal immigrants and gang members, are calling on Republican lawmakers to support President Trump’s initiative aimed at strengthening border security and expediting deportations. In an open letter addressed to Congress, they emphasize, ‘We are not here as politicians or commentators; we are parents—mothers and fathers who have had to bury our children due to the government’s failure to secure our borders.’ They further assert, ‘While justice for our children may be unattainable, accountability, action, and change are imperative.’
They conclude their heartfelt message by urging every Congressional member to endorse the ‘One Big Beautiful Bill’ to not only fortify the border but also to safeguard communities and prevent another family from experiencing their profound grief.
