Representative Jasmine Crockett has expressed concern regarding the Democratic Party’s inclination to select the “safest white boy” as a presidential candidate in the lead-up to the 2028 election.

During her recent discussion on the Urban View radio show with hosts Clay Cane and Reecie Colbert, Crockett articulated her frustration with the party’s potential choice of a white male candidate over a black woman, suggesting that this strategy aims to enhance electoral prospects.

She elaborated:

There’s a natural fear that drives this mentality; we all want to win. So, many are saying, ‘Let’s find the safest white boy we can get.’ I’m being completely honest.

To clarify, when we speak of potential candidates, there’s one in particular that has gained traction.

A donor recently told me that all the financial backers are rallying around this candidate. I can assure you, this individual is neither black nor a woman, okay?

People often overlook Trump’s uniqueness in this political landscape. They keep saying, ‘Well, we lost.’ But remember, they both lost to Trump.

Trump, who embodies misogyny, will only amplify the misogynistic sentiments out there because that’s his brand.

He shows blatant disrespect. Right now, he still struggles with how to deal with me. If he throws a punch, you can bet I’ll be throwing one right back, okay?

For additional context, since Trump’s decisive victory last November, Crockett has emerged as a prominent figure within the Democratic Party, known for her provocative language, calls for action, and racially charged commentary.

Just last week, she asserted that Republicans are “inherently violent” and labeled them as the party of domestic terrorism.

“Take a look at all of them—you have the Proud Boys, Neo-Nazis, and individuals who should undoubtedly be classified as domestic terrorists because that’s exactly what they engage in,” she stated.

“These individuals align with your party, including the KKK,” she continued. “This is your base—so fundamentally, you are violent, and a significant portion of that violence is directed at those with a bit of melanin.”
