Celebrating National Women’s Health Week

As we observe National Women’s Health Week, we take the opportunity to honor and uplift the health and wellness of the women in our lives—mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, and friends alike.

Since taking office, my Administration has been steadfast in its mission to safeguard the rights of women and girls against gender extremism, while also reinstating a sense of common sense and biological reality in America. To combat the underlying issues of our nation’s health crisis—ranging from inadequate nutrition to chronic diseases—we established the Make America Healthy Again Commission. This initiative aims to tackle the health concerns that disproportionately affect women across the country. Through initiatives focused on food transparency, encouraging physical activity, and revitalizing health education, we are striving to create a brighter and healthier future for women and all Americans.

Addressing Healthcare Costs

Healthcare costs remain a significant burden for American families, and my Administration is actively addressing this challenge. We are prioritizing price transparency, working to eliminate surprise billing, and ensuring patients have access to clear information regarding their coverage prior to receiving care. Significant strides have been made to reduce prescription drug prices, including capping insulin costs and broadening access to affordable generic medications. By holding healthcare providers accountable and placing patients at the forefront, we are making healthcare more affordable, enhancing care delivery, and restoring equity within the American healthcare system.

Commitment to Women’s Health

This week, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to enhancing women’s health, enabling them to lead fuller, healthier lives. It is vital that women of all generations flourish, as they are not only pivotal to their families but also integral to the success of our Nation.
