Elementary School Teacher Sentenced to Nine Years for Abusing Student
A shocking case has emerged from a court in the Leningrad region of Russia, where a married elementary school teacher, Anna Plaksyuk, has been sentenced to nine years in prison for committing “violent acts of a sexual nature” against one of her students. The victim, an 11-year-old boy, was subjected to disturbing abuse by the teacher.
According to reports, Plaksyuk, who was 25 at the time of the abuse, forced the boy to touch her breasts, kissed him on the lips, and even stroked his private parts through his clothes. She also sent nude pictures to the child and demanded explicit photographs in return.
The abuse came to light when the victim’s mother discovered explicit messages and photos exchanged between her son and the teacher on his WhatsApp. Shocked and outraged, she reported the matter to the school’s principal in the town of Toksovo, near St. Petersburg.
During the court proceedings, Plaksyuk attempted to shift the blame onto the boy, claiming that he had initiated the inappropriate behavior by showing signs of attention and making compliments to her. However, the court found her guilty of “violent acts of a sexual nature committed against a person under 14 years of age.”

Following Plaksyuk’s arrest, the victim did not attend school for some time, as the traumatic experience had taken a toll on him. Many parents in the community expressed shock and disbelief at the allegations against the once-popular teacher, who was described as a “dream teacher” by some.
Colleagues of Plaksyuk mentioned that there were no visible signs of her “dark side” prior to the revelations, highlighting the deceptive nature of her actions.

Plaksyuk spent a year in pre-trial detention before her sentencing. Her social media accounts have been made private, but a cryptic status that reads, “You can’t hold a man back with anything â not with children, not with youth, not with your stomach, not with blackmail, not with hysterics,” remains visible.
Her husband has not publicly commented on her conviction, raising questions about the status of their relationship.
