It appears that the challenges plaguing Joe Biden’s presidency and the Democratic Party are far from over.
In the latest revelation from Jake Tapper’s newly released book, it is disclosed that Biden’s cabinet meetings were not the earnest gatherings one might expect from the highest echelons of government, but rather meticulously scripted performances. Participants in these meetings resembled actors more than officials, with the added twist of cameras discreetly capturing any missteps that could be edited out later.
If true, this suggests that much of Biden’s presidency has been staged—an elaborate charade rather than genuine governance.

As reported by The Hill:
Tapper and Thompson reveal that Biden increasingly depended on teleprompters and note cards, even in private settings like cabinet meetings.
“In preparation for these meetings, White House staff contacted various departments to determine what they would ask the president, allowing for prepped responses. The discussions were largely scripted, even after the press had exited the room,” the authors note…
When a group requested Biden to deliver a five-minute speech for an event, the White House often suggested a video duration of one to two minutes instead. However, Biden struggled with even that.
“To mitigate this, aides deployed two cameras instead of one. Such a strategy helped conceal mistakes by making edits less conspicuous,” they explained. “While other politicians might use jump cuts, Biden’s aides noted they had to utilize them far more frequently for the president.”
Truly astonishing.
