Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell
In 2007, the love story of Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell began on the set of Frost/Nixon. Despite their strong connection, the couple never tied the knot. Prior to her relationship with Rockwell, Bibb was briefly married to businessman Rob Born from 2003 to 2004.
Rockwell, known for his roles in Fosse/Verdon and many other films, expressed his admiration for Bibb in an interview with Us in 2018, stating, “She keeps me laughing. … She’s really talented and funny herself. She reminds me of a young Mary Tyler Moore.”
Bibb, on the other hand, shared her perspective on their decision not to marry during an appearance on Today With Jenna & Friends in June 2025.
“I mean, listen, I love Sam Rockwell, I would put him in my pocket and carry him with me all the time, I love him. I do not want to get married,” she revealed to host Jenna Bush Hager. “I feel like we are married.”
Reflecting on their relationship dynamics, Bibb humorously recounted, “No … and then he would annoy the crap out of me because he was like, ‘Really? You don’t want to get married?’ [And] I was like, ‘Stop saying it, I already said I don’t want to marry you. Stop asking me like I’m going to pull, like, a sneak on you.’ But he didn’t want it either.”
She concluded by sharing her belief that if their relationship is strong and fulfilling as it is, there is no need to change it through marriage. Their unconventional approach to love has proven successful for Leslie Bibb and Sam Rockwell, showcasing that marriage is not the only path to a happy and lasting partnership.
