In an intriguing twist of geopolitical commentary, Tucker Carlson has declared his intention to interview Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian just weeks following U.S. strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.
Since departing from Fox News over two years ago, Carlson has cultivated one of the largest online platforms, and he recently shared a teaser for the upcoming interview on the social media platform X.
“We are aware that this interview may attract criticism,” Carlson acknowledged. “But why pursue it regardless?”
“Because just ten days ago, we were engaged in military action against Iran, and the possibility of renewed conflict looms large.”
“Our perspective is steadfast: American citizens possess not only a constitutional right but also a fundamental human right to access information that impacts their lives,” he elaborated.
The interview is slated to be broadcast in the upcoming days.

Carlson candidly admitted that certain inquiries would not yield “honest answers,” particularly regarding the ramifications of U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran’s nuclear ambitions.
“There’s no possibility he’ll respond to that question truthfully. I didn’t even think it was worth asking,” he remarked.
“From an American viewpoint, even the CIA’s insights are shrouded in uncertainty. Thus, we set those questions aside,” he explained.
This announcement follows a spirited exchange Carlson had with Senator Ted Cruz, during which they debated the senator’s affiliations with the Israel lobby.

Furthermore, Carlson revealed that he had sought an interview with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu but has yet to receive a response.
He emphasized that the interview aims to enrich the pool of knowledge available to Americans, enabling them to form their own opinions.
“We hope this interview contributes, albeit modestly, to fulfilling that objective. The edited version will be available shortly, likely within a day or two,” he stated.
The 56-year-old has previously engaged with a roster of world leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Argentinian President Javier Milei, El Salvador’s President Nayyib Bukele, and former President Donald Trump.
