A new development has emerged in the viral Coldplay concert scandal where the CEO of a company was caught in an alleged affair. The company in question has now come forward to denounce a statement circulating online that is purportedly from Andy Byron, calling it completely fabricated.

A spokesperson for Astronomer, the company Andy Byron leads, has clarified that the statement circulating on social media, allegedly penned by Andy himself to address the scandal, is unequivocally false.

The fake statement surfaced following the release of a video that went viral, capturing Andy embracing Astronomer’s HR chief, Kristin Cabot, at a Coldplay concert in Boston.

The pair found themselves displayed on the venue’s big screen, prompting them to hastily conceal their actions upon realizing the attention they attracted.

Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, even made a tongue-in-cheek remark insinuating a potential affair between the two individuals.

The video, shared by an attendee, garnered millions of views, leading online investigators to uncover that both executives are married to other partners.

Both Andy and Kristin have refrained from addressing the speculation, fueling the rapid circulation of the alleged statement attributed to Andy, which even included a quote from Coldplay’s song, “Fix You.”

We reached out to Astronomer for confirmation on whether Andy intends to issue an official statement regarding the controversy, but as of now, no response has been received.
