A man with a history of bizarre butt-sniffing antics found himself back in handcuffs after allegedly sniffing a woman’s rear end at a Nordstrom Rack in California. Calese Carron Crowder, 36, was arrested following an incident captured on security cameras at the Burbank Empire Center department store.
According to the Burbank Police Department, Crowder was seen crouching near an unsuspecting woman in the women’s section of the store and sniffing her backside. The registered sex offender had been observed following the woman around the store before committing the disturbing act, a behavior he has been arrested for multiple times in the past.
Crowder was apprehended inside a nearby Walmart and is currently on active parole for previous lewd offenses dating back to 2021. Police responded to reports of a suspicious man in the women’s apparel section of the store, leading to his arrest.
This is not the first time Crowder has made headlines for his creepy behavior. In 2023, a viral TikTok video captured him sneaking up behind women at a Barnes & Noble in Burbank and sniffing their buttocks. He was also arrested later that month for peeping into a family home in Glendale, but was subsequently released.
The career sex offender has a history of indecent exposure, burglary, and robbery charges. He is now facing charges of intent to commit a crime and is being held on $100,000 bail. Crowder is scheduled to appear in court on August 1st.
