Truck Carrying Hot Dogs Causes Messy Traffic Jam on Pennsylvania Interstate
A truck carrying hot dogs was involved in a crash along a Pennsylvania interstate, leading to a chaotic scene with hot dogs scattered across the road.
A spokesperson from the Pennsylvania State Police reported that a tractor-trailer experienced mechanical issues on Interstate 83, just north of the Maryland state line, resulting in a collision with another vehicle.
The impact of the crash caused the trailer to hit the concrete dividers, causing it to open up and spill numerous hot dogs onto the road.
Fire Company Chief Brad Dauberman mentioned, “Once those hot dogs leave the truck and hit the road, that’s all garbage, and it’s still pretty warm.”
Despite the messy situation, emergency officials were able to treat four individuals for non-life-threatening injuries.
Reflecting on the incident, Dauberman humorously shared, “I can tell you personally, hot dogs are very slippery. I did not know that.”
