Former President Donald Trump recently took to Truth Social to criticize Charlamagne Tha God after the radio host appeared on Lara Trump’s Fox News show “My View” to discuss the GOP’s changing dynamics in light of the Trump-Jeffrey Epstein scandal.
Trump’s post on Truth Social targeted Charlamagne, referring to him as a “racist sleazebag” and questioning why he uses the nickname “The God.” The former president also criticized Charlamagne’s intelligence and knowledge about him.
In response, Charlamagne took to Instagram to address Trump’s comments. He pointed out the irony of Trump targeting him while comparing him to iconic figures like Martin Luther King Jr., President Obama, Oprah, and Beyoncé.
During his appearance on “My View,” Charlamagne discussed the political shift within the Republican Party, suggesting that traditional conservatives are reclaiming control from the MAGA base. He highlighted the Epstein scandal as a catalyst for this change.
Charlamagne emphasized that the Epstein issue has mobilized the MAGA base, giving traditional conservatives an opportunity to assert their influence within the party without alienating Trump’s supporters.
