Recent court documents obtained exclusively by RadarOnline.com show that Alice Evans has initiated a Substitution of Attorney and a Notice of Limited Scope Representation, indicating her decision to represent herself during the proceedings.
Despite her self-representation, her current attorney will remain by her side to provide guidance on essential matters such as child and spousal support, as well as any necessary adjustments to existing restraining orders. Additionally, her attorney will assist in preparing Evans for the trial.

Evans Claims to Be Struggling Financially
The actress claims to be living in difficult financial circumstances.

In his own court documentation, Gruffudd alleged that Evans “intentionally put herself in a position to be evicted, ceasing to pay rent and instead choosing to take their children on a vacation to Europe.” Gruffudd claims this was a ploy to bolster her public narrative of financial instability, pressuring him to increase support payments beyond what he can afford.
Gruffudd also asserts that bank records show Evans is not in financial distress as she claims, indicating that she earned over $130,000 in 2024 and is projected to make a similar amount this year. However, Evans has dismissed these statements as “false and misleading.”
