Nicolas Cage Tossed Lisa Marie Presley's $65k Engagement Ring Overboard In Blazing Row During One of the Couple's 'Epic Fights'

Nicolas Cage reportedly threw Lisa Marie Presley‘s engagement ring, valued at $65,000, into the ocean, according to revelations from Priscilla Presley in her recent memoir.

In her book, Priscilla detailed her daughter Lisa Marie’s tumultuous relationship with the Con Air actor, which spanned four years starting in 2000, chronicling the dramatic moments that characterized their romance.

One remarkable incident that led to the loss of the expensive ring has since drawn significant attention.

Priscilla shared, “One afternoon, they went sailing off the coast of Catalina Island on Nick’s yacht, the Weston. Something triggered another one of their notorious fights, and Lisa took off her engagement ring and threw it at Nick.” In a fit of rage, Cage retaliated by hurling the ring into the Pacific Ocean.

“Furious, Nick tossed the ring overboard,” Priscilla recounted. Although Cage dispatched divers to search for the $65,000 ring, Priscilla expressed skepticism about its retrieval, saying, “As far as I know, the ring is still there.”

According to Priscilla, Nicolas Cage promptly acquired an even grander replacement ring, featuring a diamond estimated at ten carats. She described how after losing the first ring, Cage asked Lisa Marie to engage again with the new piece of jewelry.

The couple began dating in 2000 and tied the knot in 2002, but their union was short-lived as they divorced later that year, with the final decree in 2004.

Lisa Marie had been previously married to Michael Jackson and Danny Keough, with whom she shared two children: her late son Benjamin, who died at 27 in August 2020, and daughter Riley, aged 36, who has established herself in the entertainment field.

Additionally, Lisa Marie was a mother to twins Harper and Finley, both 16, with ex-husband Michael Lockwood.

She sadly passed away in January 2023, at the age of 54.
