Ahluwalia’s fall 2026 collection was a celebration of friendship and community, with the motif of a friendship bracelet intricately woven throughout the pieces. From a silken braid across the chest of a flowing ice-blue long-sleeve to a woolen suit with interlacing lapels and tuxedo trims, every garment exuded a sense of togetherness and connection. The collection, titled Birds of a Feather, was a continuation of Ahluwalia’s previous season, Affinity, which explored themes of kinship and female friendships. Inspired by her mother’s phrase, Birds of a Feather, Ahluwalia delved into the resplendence and resilience that comes from forming close-knit bonds with others. The fabrics were tactile and prints expansive, reflecting the intimacy and energy of shared experiences.

Ahluwalia’s commitment to sustainability was evident in the use of majority sustainable fabrics, recycled yarns, unbleached denims, deadstock, and organic materials. The designer’s dedication to ethical fashion practices was ingrained in every aspect of the collection, showcasing her belief in creating beautiful garments with a conscience.

The collection featured sculptural tailoring, draped slip dresses, and embellished feathery flourishes, all exalting the female form. From warm chocolate tones to burnt orange hues, the color palette evoked a sense of comfort and luxury. Fringing moments and intricate knits added depth and movement to the pieces, perfect for red carpet events or intimate gatherings.

Ahluwalia also gave a sneak peek at her upcoming Puma collaboration, inspired by grassroots football and her Nigerian-Indian heritage. The bold color combinations and innovative designs showcased her ability to blend fashion and sport seamlessly.
