Amanda Batula expressed her love for her husband Kyle Cooke on an episode of In the City, just months before indicating she wanted to end their marriage.
During the Tuesday, June 9, episode of the Bravo series, Amanda, 34, confessed to Kyle, 43, “My biggest fear is losing you. And that’s scary. And I get frustrated with how badly I want it to work.”
This candid revelation came as Amanda and Kyle discussed her decision to move out of their shared New York City apartment.
During a lunch in October 2025, Kyle asked Amanda, “Do you feel like you’re in love with me?” Amanda, without hesitation, replied, “Yes, that’s why I’m doing this. Are you even still in love with me?”
“Of course, I love you,” Kyle responded. Amanda pressed further, asking, “Are you still in love with me?”
Laughing at Amanda’s intense gaze, Kyle replied, “Of course. Stop! I love you.”
Giggling, Amanda remarked, “I’m a f***ing catch and I want you to treat me like that.”

Kyle then turned serious, saying, “K. Then let’s bring that back.”
Amanda expressed that while they lived apart, she needed to see Kyle making an effort to fight for their relationship, ensuring he didn’t want to lose her.
“OK,” Kyle responded.
Earlier in their discussion, Amanda shared that she had secured the keys to her new furnished apartment with a year-long lease, deviating from the month-to-month arrangement she initially suggested, and planned to move in that week.
“This hasn’t been an easy decision for me to make,” Amanda told Kyle. “The reason that I feel like I’m able to get through it is because I’m really hoping this move is going to make a shift in our relationship.”
When Kyle inquired about getting a key to her new place, Amanda said “no” but assured him she would retain keys to their shared home.
“You tell the front desk you’re coming to see me. Then you go to the elevator, push my floor and just go up. You don’t need keys,” Amanda explained.
Kyle described the situation as “uncharted territory” and asked if Amanda would notify him before visiting. She agreed, saying she would text before arriving.

As Kyle adjusted to this change in their relationship, he asked Amanda for one assurance.
“Speak to me like we’re making decisions together, not that you’ve already made up your mind,” he said. Amanda agreed, clarifying, “OK. You’re not single. I’m not single,” reiterating their new dynamic while living apart.
“I know, I still have my wedding ring on,” Kyle noted, before realizing Amanda wasn’t wearing hers. “What the s*** is that?”
Amanda laughed it off, stating, “I don’t have any jewelry on!”
Kyle and Amanda later set guidelines for their separate living arrangement, with Amanda suggesting, “I feel like we should be at each other’s places at least two times a week.”
She also emphasized the importance of continuing couples therapy weekly, telling Kyle, “I think that’s going to be our saving grace.”
Kyle agreed wholeheartedly.
During an episode, Amanda confided in Lindsay Hubbard that living alone felt like a “weird limbo” in her marriage to Kyle. Still, she remained optimistic about their future.
“The plan is still the same. To try and reconnect again. We’re not dating other people. We’re not seeing other people,” Amanda stated. “This is to create space to actually try to date each other again. In my delusional little mind I think that this could actually work.”
A few months after filming In the City, Amanda and Kyle announced their separation. They had been married for four years before they issued a statement in January announcing their split. (Amanda later shared that she initiated the statement and informed Bravo of their breakup.)
The following month, rumors circulated about Amanda’s involvement with her Summer House co-star West Wilson. They initially dismissed the speculation but eventually confirmed in a joint statement on March 31 that their previously platonic relationship had become romantic.

The news of Amanda moving on with West soon after her split with Kyle sent ripples through the Bravo community.
West’s previous relationship with Summer House co-star and Amanda’s former close friend Ciara Miller also stirred curiosity among the cast. (West and Ciara, 30, dated in 2023 and were seen together frequently during the summer of 2025 and into the fall, following season 10 of Summer House.)
During part 3 of the Summer House reunion, which aired on Tuesday, Kyle questioned West and Amanda about their timeline: “Was there any physical activity? I don’t care if there’s any emotional affair, because at this point that’s subjective. Did you ever hook up in 2025?”
West answered, “No, f*** no.”
Amanda echoed West’s denial, asserting to Kyle, “On my f***ing life, on the dogs’ life, no,” referring to the two puppies they shared.
Lindsay, 39, told Kyle that “an emotional affair is so much worse,” to which he agreed, adding, “But we’re never going to be able to prove that.”
The Summer House reunion concluded with Kyle telling Amanda off stage, “I hate when our 10-year relationship gets talked about as if it was 100 percent bad.”
The former couple shared a heartfelt hug, with Kyle tearing up as Amanda replied, “I know. I’m sorry.”
Later, Kyle told host Andy Cohen that he made a “big effort to just be at peace” after their breakup.
However, he admitted, “I don’t know where we go from here. … This was not something I ever thought was going to be possible.”
In the City airs on Bravo Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET.
