Royal Exile Andrew Windsor Facing Dilemma Over Temporary Home
Since early January, the royal exile has been residing at Wood Farm, a secluded cottage on the Sandringham estate in Norfolk. This temporary accommodation was arranged while renovations are being carried out at Marsh Farm, a modest red-brick farmhouse in the nearby village of Wolferton.
Marsh Farm, located in close proximity to Sandringham House – the King’s private residence, has been undergoing extensive security and interior upgrades. These enhancements include the installation of perimeter fencing, CCTV cameras, and broadband connections.
However, unforeseen delays have caused the relocation to the permanent residence to be postponed until at least April. A source familiar with the estate arrangements expressed concern about the possibility of the temporary setup becoming a more permanent solution.
The source explained, “There is a genuine anxiety that once Andrew becomes accustomed to the privacy, security, and familiarity of life at Wood Farm, he may lose the sense of urgency to move to Marsh Farm. The longer he stays at Wood Farm during the prolonged renovation work next door, the more challenging it may become to convince him to relocate. What was initially intended as a short-term arrangement could unintentionally transform into a more permanent situation.”
It is evident that the situation involving Andrew Windsor’s living arrangements is becoming increasingly complex. As the renovations at Marsh Farm continue to face delays, the dilemma of transitioning from a temporary to a permanent residence remains unresolved.
