Multiple People Shot in Colorado Springs, One in Critical Condition

Authorities in Colorado Springs reported that at least six individuals were shot on Saturday night, with one individual in critical condition.

Police officers in Colorado Springs were called to the 1400 block of Potter Drive around 10:12 p.m. on Saturday in response to reports of an active shooter, as stated by the police department.

The incident took place less than a mile north of the Citadel Mall. Upon arrival, officers discovered multiple gunshot victims. Four victims were transported to the hospital by paramedics, while two others sought medical attention on their own.

One of the victims is currently in critical condition. The conditions of the other victims remain unknown.

Authorities believe that the shooting was a result of an argument, though no further details were provided. At this time, no suspects have been publicly identified, and it is unclear whether any arrests have been made.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. Individuals with information are urged to contact Colorado Springs investigators at 719-444-7000 or Pikes Peak Crime Stoppers at 719-634-7867.
