A Body Found Floating Near the Queen Mary in Long Beach Harbor
Two boaters were taken aback when they discovered a body floating near the iconic Queen Mary ocean liner in Long Beach harbor late Monday night.
The men were initially unfazed before coming across the disturbing sight.
According to one of the boaters who spoke to ABC 7, “We were passing the buoys, and we thought it was trash… We noticed… what seemed to be a back, so we turned around to confirm.”
The second boater added, “It was actually pretty surreal. To think that you could find a dead body like that… like right outside of the marina in Long Beach — that’s insane.”
The Long Beach Police Department informed The Post that the man’s body showed no “obvious signs of trauma,” and foul play is not suspected.
