Rogen shared heartfelt words about O’Hara’s talent and generosity, highlighting her ability to enhance every scene she was in with her creative input.

O’Hara’s nomination was for her portrayal of former studio chief-turned-producer Patty Leigh on “The Studio.” She was nominated alongside other talented actresses such as Kathryn Hahn, Jenna Ortega, Jean Smart, and Kristen Wiig. The emotional tribute to O’Hara from Rogen was met with tears from Ortega and Hahn, who had worked with O’Hara in the past.

In addition to the Actor Award, O’Hara had also received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for her role in “The Studio.” Her previous wins at the SAG Awards in 2021 for her work on “Schitt’s Creek” were a testament to her enduring talent and versatility in the industry.

Throughout her five-decade-long career, O’Hara had left an indelible mark on film and television, with memorable roles in projects like “Beetlejuice,” “Home Alone,” and various Christopher Guest mockumentaries. Her iconic portrayal of Moira Rose on “Schitt’s Creek” had garnered her widespread acclaim and recognition in recent years.
