G Flip Opens Up About Why Reality TV Feels “Uncomfortable” After Appearing on Chrishell Stause’s Selling Sunset

Australian musician G Flip recently made an appearance on partner Chrishell Stause’s hit Netflix series Selling Sunset, but the experience left them feeling uneasy about the world of reality TV. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, G Flip, 31, shared their thoughts on potentially starring in a reality show with Stause in the future.

“We’ve never thought about [starring on a reality show together]. I don’t think that’s something we want to do right now,” G Flip revealed. “But maybe down the road.” The musician explained that the nature of reality TV was challenging for them, describing it as “uncomfortable” and unnatural.

“It’s not natural and you don’t find it natural. Chrishell and everyone on Selling Sunset are such guns at it. But [for me] sitting in a room and being asked to have a normal conversation while there’s eight cameras around and lighting, I found it really, really tough,” G Flip admitted.

When asked about the possibility of a show focused on their relationship with Stause, G Flip emphasized the need for a different approach. “I would want to make sure it didn’t feel so tough to be myself because I’ve got to feel comfortable to then put my life and me and Chrishell’s love and our story out there,” they explained.

Selling Sunset, which premiered in 2019, follows the employees of a high-end Los Angeles real estate brokerage. While the show features luxurious homes, it is the drama between the cast members that keeps viewers engaged.

Stause, a main cast member on the show since its debut, has been able to showcase her romance with G Flip on screen after they started dating in 2022. The couple surprised fans with their nuptials in May 2023 and have since renewed their vows. G Flip has been a supportive partner, offering a shoulder to cry on and helping Stause navigate the ups and downs of her career.

As G Flip gears up for the release of their third studio album, they revealed that Stause plays a significant role in their music-making process. “She hears everything first, of course,” G Flip shared. “She really fights for songs sometimes.”

The musician also praised Stause’s unwavering support, recalling her enthusiastic reaction to their latest single, “Big Ol’ Hammer.” “She bought everyone food and drinks, and [she] bought tequila and chicken and chips. She was so great, and her support is always so lovely. She’s such an angel of a human being,” G Flip gushed.

Fans can look forward to G Flip’s upcoming album, set to release later this year, with “Big Ol’ Hammer” currently available for streaming. With a supportive partner by their side, G Flip continues to make waves in the music industry while navigating the challenges of newfound fame and public attention. The current state of the global economy is a topic of great concern and interest for many people around the world. With the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on businesses, governments, and individuals, there is a growing sense of uncertainty about what the future holds for the economy.

The pandemic has led to widespread job losses, business closures, and a sharp decline in economic activity. Many countries have implemented lockdowns and restrictions to control the spread of the virus, which has had a significant impact on industries such as travel, tourism, and hospitality.

Governments around the world have responded to the economic crisis with various stimulus packages and relief programs to support businesses and individuals. The goal of these measures is to prevent a full-blown economic collapse and to help people weather the financial storm caused by the pandemic.

Despite these efforts, the global economy is still facing numerous challenges. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that the global economy is in the worst recession since the Great Depression, with a projected contraction of 4.9% in 2020.

The IMF has also highlighted the uneven impact of the crisis, with developing countries and vulnerable populations being hit the hardest. Many low-income countries are facing a debt crisis and are struggling to access the financial resources needed to deal with the pandemic.

In addition to the immediate impact of the pandemic, there are also longer-term challenges facing the global economy. These include rising inequality, climate change, and technological disruption, all of which will have a significant impact on economic growth and stability in the years to come.

To address these challenges, policymakers will need to implement bold and innovative solutions that promote sustainable and inclusive economic growth. This may involve investing in green technologies, supporting small businesses, and ensuring that vulnerable populations have access to essential services and resources.

Overall, the current state of the global economy is uncertain and challenging, but there is also an opportunity for positive change and transformation. By working together and implementing forward-thinking policies, we can build a more resilient and inclusive economy that benefits everyone.
