The former landlord of rapper D4vd has enlisted a private investigator to look into the circumstances surrounding the death of a 15-year-old girl who was discovered dismembered inside the rapper’s impounded Tesla last month, as reported by sources.
Mladen Trifunovic, the property owner, decided to hire a private investigator following a police raid on the mansion D4vd had been renting for $20,000 per month. This action was taken as authorities conducted an investigation into the death of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, a teen runaway, according to reports.
The Tesla associated with the artist known for the song “Romantic Homicide” had been found abandoned nearby before it was taken to an impound lot, where the decaying body of the missing girl was later found concealed in its trunk.
As of now, no suspect has been identified in the case of Rivas, who was discovered in a severely decomposed state on September 8, six weeks ago.
“Currently, our investigator is still looking into the matter, and there’s nothing significant to report just yet. It’s early days, and I wish to honor both the LAPD’s efforts and the memory of the victim,” Trifunovic shared with the media.
Movers were spotted removing the belongings of the alt rapper from the rental property shortly after the police raid on September 17, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Following the police investigation, he hurriedly vacated his lease on the sprawling $4 million mansion, according to reports.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has found himself at the center of widespread online speculation since news broke of the teenager’s discovery in his vehicle.

Internet detectives have also uncovered old livestream footage displaying the rapper discussing grooming a girl identified as Celeste.

The 20-year-old musician, originally from Queens and now based in LA, has canceled his upcoming album tour for “Withered.”
He also made headlines when he transferred the titles of his two Texas properties to his mother, following a recent swatting incident involving one of the homes.
Rivas was laid to rest at Queen of Heaven Cemetery and Mortuary in Rowland Heights during a private ceremony held approximately 50 miles from her family residence in Lake Elsinore.
To date, no charges have been filed in connection with this case.
