Deranged Texas Couple Pleads Guilty to Forcibly Tattooing Young Children

A shocking case of child abuse has emerged in Zavalla, Texas, where a couple has pleaded guilty to forcibly tattooing their two young children in a disturbing manner. Megan Farr and Gunner Farr admitted to using a staple to tattoo their 5 and 9-year-old children while they were restrained, gagged, and blindfolded. The abuse came to light when Child Protective Services intervened and discovered the markings on the children’s bodies.

Interim Zavalla Police Chief Lt. James Denby described the horrifying scene when the couple was arrested, stating that visible injuries and flesh removal were evident on the children’s skin at the tattoo locations. The children were reportedly tied up, blindfolded, and gagged before the parents used a pointed needle to tattoo them.

Attempt to Remove Tattoos

Upon discovery of the tattoos, Megan and Gunner Farr attempted to remove them by scraping and scrubbing the children’s skin so vigorously that it caused further harm. The children’s biological father and stepmother reported the abuse to CPS after noticing the ink and questioning Megan, who callously laughed before driving away.

Legal Consequences

Megan Farr, 27, pleaded guilty to injuring a child and is awaiting sentencing in May. Gunner Farr, 23, pleaded guilty earlier and was sentenced to five years in prison for bodily injury charges and two years for unlawful restraint. Both parents will serve their prison terms concurrently.

Recovery and Investigation

Following the CPS intervention, the children and their younger siblings were removed from the home. Police recovered a tattoo kit during their week-long investigation, further corroborating the disturbing events that took place in the Farrs’ household.

This case serves as a stark reminder of the importance of protecting children and advocating for their well-being. The Farrs’ heinous actions have rightfully resulted in legal consequences, and the children are now under the care of authorities who will ensure their safety and recovery.
