The ongoing trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs has taken a new turn as prosecutors released photos taken from his New York City hotel room at the time of his arrest in September 2024. The evidence entered in court includes images of bottles of baby oil and lubricant, drugs, and a fanny pack containing $9,000 in cash. These photos were snapped by federal agents and are being used as evidence in Diddy’s trial on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation to engage in prostitution, all of which he has denied.
One photo from the scene reveals small Ziploc bags containing a powdery pink substance, which were found to test positive for ketamine and MDMA. Another snapshot shows a bottle of Clonazepam prescribed to an alias used by Diddy, confirming earlier testimony from his ex-girlfriend Cassie. Cassie, real name Casandra Venture, has accused Diddy of sexual and physical abuse during their on-and-off relationship from 2007 to 2018.
Diddy, 55, was indicted by a grand jury in November 2023 amidst multiple sexual assault lawsuits and a federal investigation. Cassie filed a lawsuit against him, alleging abuse, which they settled out of court. A surveillance video from 2016 showed Diddy kicking and grabbing Cassie in a hotel, leading to a public apology from the rapper.
During her court testimony, Cassie described their relationship as violent and claimed Diddy would videotape her during sexual encounters for blackmail purposes. She also detailed alleged drug use, including weed, mushrooms, GHB, ketamine, and ecstasy, to stay “disconnected” from experiences. Shockingly, she mentioned an incident involving being urinated on by two male escorts.
In court last week, Cassie faced cross-examination about her relationship with Diddy and their alleged drug use. The defense questioned her about texts expressing love for Diddy and enjoyment of certain activities. Special Agent Yasin Binda from the Department of Homeland Security testified about the raid on Diddy’s hotel room, where various incriminating items were found.
The trial continues with mounting evidence against Diddy as the prosecution presents its case. Stay tuned for updates on this high-profile legal battle.
